Divisional Secretariat - Galgamuwa

Mr. K. Prasad Chaminda officially assumed duties as the new Divisional Secretary for the Galgamuwa Divisional Secretariat on July 1, 2026.

The commencement of his new role was marked by brief religious observances and official rituals at the Divisional Secretariat, attended by the office staff and local officials.

Speaking on the occasion, the newly appointed Divisional Secretary expressed his commitment to public service and stated that he looks forward to working efficiently alongside the staff to drive the development of the Galgamuwa area and effectively address the needs of the public.

Foreign Employment Job Fair and Migrant Workers’ Product Exhibition on 25 November 2025 at the Galgamuwa Divisional Secretariat

A Migrant Workers’ Product Exhibition will also take place alongside the event.
